NASA to create 4G Network on MOON !

How many people reading this article are getting decent internet speed? Even for a small percentage of people, mobile internet speeds are still very low.
There may be those who get even 3G. I also still get 3g signal on my BSNL sim. But now there is an update from the technology industry. NASA is going to place 4G on the moon.
Why set up 4G on moon? Let's see. What is the real move of NASA.

NASA's plan to actually launch 4g on the moon began about two years ago. NASA is in talks with a number of mobile phone companies to finally develop the infrastructure to install 4G on the moon. Finally Nokia join hands with NASA for building this whole new network architecture on lunar surface. Many people may wonder why it is needed on the moon. In fact, it is not a technology to use the internet to take selfies on the moon and post them on Facebook and Instagram. We know that there have been many lunar missions. With several orbiters and rovers. Many are still there in working condition. The biggest benefit of this super fast 4G is that if such a network is set up there, the data transfer between these robotic devices can be further developed.

NASA had earlier announced a mission to land man again on the moon in the coming years. This mission will make a first ever women to touch her foot on lunar surface for the first time in 2028. The mission is called Artemis. It is also seen as a leap for journeys to Mars in the near future. Therefore, it can be seen as an upgrade to the communication systems on the Moon surface before that. We know devices communicate with each other, both in space and on the moon, using normal radio frequencies. Because it is the most efficient method. But with more serious missions to come, realtime controls of robotic rovers, high definition video capture, live bio metric monitoring of astronauts etc. continuous data transfer between these devices will become even heavier. Accordingly, a higher bandwidth is also required. That's why they decided to set up a 4g network now.

It is a fact that this will be a real challenge for Nokia. There is an absolutely different condition on moon than earth. Also 4g waves in particular use more energy than normal radio waves. We know that only solar power is available there. In addition, electronic chip sets need to be assembled to suit the local environment. Also, if you later set up a station on the moon, for our further mars expeditions you may have to upgrade this 4g to 5g. Nokia must be aware of all these challenges before getting into it. NASA paid Nokia about $ 14.1m for the project. Definitely a big innovation. Data transfer is said to be the most important stage of a space exploration. Till now we are not upgraded anything for it since our first space mission. We can say that NASA made a futuristic investment in that area as always.
